NFSC Programs

 CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. For beginners of all ages! 

 Our Pre-Star and Star 1 programs are our learn-to-figure skate programs. The curriculum for these programs have been developed by our own coaches for skaters to build a solid foundation for long term success in the sport of figure skating. Skaters will work on basic skating skills, turns and transitions, performance/presentation, jumps, spins, field movements and much more! Figure Skates required. 

In the Star Skate program structure, skaters will receive instruction primarily through private, semi-private and group lessons which are billed directly to the parent/guardian monthly by the coach(es). These lessons are given by our coaching team. It is suggested you discuss a comfortable lesson budget.
